I was a caregiver for an elderly gentleman in New Haven by the name of John Metcalf. I have been a care giver for him for the past 5 years on and off. And I am sick and tired of people stealing s*** out of his yard. First of all John sold his property. Dirt cheap to the couple at the bottom of his hill.they took advantage of him after they bought the property he went straight up there and start throwing all his s*** in the dumpster using his own lawn mower to put things in the dumpster then they cut down trees that him and his deseased wife had planted together. I had to remove him from the property because he was crying he said he could not watch ihim. second of all people are stealing s*** out of his yard all the time and using him John let someone use his vehicle 2 years ago which they never returned his vehicle and John has went and asked for it back even talk to the police out there but the guy has not giving it back yet. and the third thing is that no one will come help him clean up the aftermath of the fire from his trailer not even his own family do you know how hard it is for him to sift through the rebel of what's left of a fire when you have been saving for your family when you pass only to find half burnt pictures burnt up clothes and his ex-wife? it's killing him! ¡!!! and a note to the family let the past go he did not mean to do what he did in the past that caused him to lose everything he is sorry he is the one that has to live with that burden the rest of his life and it is eating him up inside you need to forgive him so he can forgive himself he lives with that burden everyday it is what's killing him and you wonder why he became a hoarder his wife's passing did not help you need to forgive him and help him clean up the aftermath of the fire it's not going to hurt you to take time out of your precious pathetic lives to help him you're supposed to live for today not tomorrow not last week he will not be around forever I know that he feels that nobody cares about him he will not ask for the help he is too old-fashioned and stubborn he cannot do it his self he thinks everybody in town hates him he does not eat nor sleep all he does is worry worry worry it's going to kill him so stop stealing from him stop being inconsiderate stop being disrespectful to the elderly. Have some compassion make an elderly man happy these are supposed to be his best days he is supposed to be enjoying his years of retirement how can he with all he feels like is a burden and his family is mad at him and no one likes him he can't do anything without them telling him he can't he is not in the best shape anymore but he tries so hard a note to his family I'm not saying this stuff to make you all mad I'm saying this stuff to get some help for your dad and maybe some forgiveness and compassion from you all towards him he will not be around much longer if you don't I see the hurt in his eyes and I feel the hurt and despair in his heart so please forgive him and help him for you will miss him when he's gone as I will as well I love you John I will miss you but I have to get on with my life I can't let your burdens be mine anymore and I can't watch your illness take over it hurts too bad I will keep you in my prayers God bless you call me if you wanna friend to talk to and thank you for being their for me

Same with all prior investigations by law enforcement from outside the region, as soon as they see that al trails lead to local authorities, they drop the investigation without advance warning or after the fact explanation.

Wasn't sure where to post this, but i thought people in Bardstown need to be aware of how this local mechanic is ripping off his customers. I gave this person 400. 00 to pick up a part in Louisville that he said i needed for my wheelchair lift. (I have now been told by another mechanic that the lift does not need the part i had gave 400. 00 for). He took the money and has not returned with the part or the money. Its been over 2 weeks and still can't get him to settle up with me. After thinking over what other things he had done was he kept the core return fee for the starter he had installed earlier that week. Then when i had asked for receipts, he never brought them to me. Now this mechanic was referred to me by a certified mechanic here in town,. So be more aware of people who offer to do a job for you. The shady con artist mechanic who chose to rip me off for 400. 00 here at Christmas time is Barry Carter. Watch out foe this guy before he gets you. Thanks for your time.

The local police assured the podcast’s “investigative” team that the local police are heroes, and despite the years of continuous failures in serving the public trust and utter lack of results that was all the evidence their ratings needed, leaving listeners with absolutely nothing but graves filled with thoughts and prayers and paid advertisements. The retired Bardstown police chief Rick McCubbin loves to take credit for his “blue family” splitting up the Cornbread Mafia of old, but in reality they allowed the various activities to grow from their neighborhoods across ten different states, prompting federal investigators to say enough was enough and do the heavy lifting. At the same time the FBI was organizing drug raids in the region, it was also conducting Operation Boptrot, a wide-scale crackdown on bribery among state officials where approximately 10% of Kentucky’s legislature, both house and senate, Democrat and Republican, were implicated, some taking bribes for as little as $100. Alongside the rampantly increased militarization nationwide, law enforcement at every level today seems more concerned with making criminality manifest, while burgling the public themselves. So that it would appear the bribery crackdowns and drug raids alike were purposed ultimately with the most obscene form of venture capitalism; the sweeping transfer of power into its own long-armed clutches. I think it was belittling for Jessica Noll in the final installment of her pod to completely disregard fears of bourbon festival attendees to speak on record. In the same sense, what if law enforcement refuse to divulge files because there are no investigations in progress? As with every prior effort by outsider commercial media in covering the ongoing crimes in Bardstown, special interest is noticeably rewarded to fifth amendment rights of local police at the expense of everyone else. But even at face value, their lack of results damns them. I would think based on comments made by Brooks Houck in his interrogation, checking phone records for him and Crystal Rogers both of that particular night would make or break the case definitively, yet still a holding pattern years after the fact. If there are avenues this or any broadcast refuse to consider, then justice is not the priority. And if that’s tinfoil, so be it because all that listeners have been offered are stale leftovers anyway. Real investigators would push to drug-test Judge Dean Watts and Bardstown’s city council members of the last decade, push for audits of the checking/savings accounts of local officers of recent years from both the Bardstown police department and Nelson County sheriff’s office and question alibis for one and all for the times of the unsolved murders. All possible other stones have been upturned. Real investigators should not take at face value anything stated by persons with absolutely nothing to show for their efforts but growing body counts, and excuses galore. “When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth. ” In a just society, Rick McCubbin alone should have a thousand kicks to the groin coming, one from every member of the community harassed, robbed, groped or worse by officers he himself proudly oversaw. Also in a just society, KY Standard editor Forrest Berkshire would be the assistant manager of McDonalds. Instead, their avoidance of truth is humored by a powerless community. Both syntax and context are lessened when regarded as specific to credentials. Privilege and entitlement to convey truths is means to omit truths. More: [LINK]
